  • About Us...

  • Before the summer of 2020, my Dad came up to me with this crazy idea to start a couple hives over the summer. My first thought was that he was crazy (I was 16 at the time). None of us knew anything about raising bees but it sounded like it would help me stay busy over the summer. That night, I stayed up pretty late and did a lot of research about bees since I knew so little about them. Did you know that a queen bee can lay 1,000 to 2,000 eggs a day? A couple months later, when the weather was getting warmer, we purchased our first hives and colonies. We started with 2 hives that held around 25,000 bees each. We learned many things on the way and grew quickly too. Our population went from 50,000 to 100,000 to 200,000 bees! We never thought that it would grow this much, especially into a business! I just wonder where I would be if we didn't start our hives. Never have I ever thought about beekeeping in my life but it turns out that its been one of the most fun things I've done in my life. The most important thing I've learned over this adventure is to take opportunities, no matter how crazy they may seem!
